Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care to adults and seniors. CNAs support clients in their homes by assisting with daily care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Maine CNA license.
• Experience with direct client care is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care).
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs and health observations.
• Support daily care tasks including light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote independence.
• Report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance.
• Document accurately and on schedule.
