Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs help clients with daily living activities in their homes, promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

We offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules (day, evening, weekend, and overnight if applicable), competitive pay of $18.00–$21.00 per hour based on experience, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing clinical support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Maine CNA license required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Access to a working cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation, with safe use of assistive devices.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations as directed.
• Support daily care tasks such as light housekeeping related to care, laundry, bed linen changes, and meal preparation.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence.
• Monitor clients for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Identify and report safety risks or environmental concerns.
