Job summary

MaineTouch is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care for adults and seniors. You’ll support clients with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and health monitoring, all while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Access to a working cell phone.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred (assignment dependent).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance and safe use of assistive devices.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations.
• Assist with meal service and light housekeeping related to care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence.
• Monitor changes in condition and report concerns promptly to nursing/supervisory staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
