Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors, helping with daily care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

This role emphasizes one-on-one care, independent work, and flexible scheduling with a supportive care team; full-time and part-time shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights where applicable; mileage reimbursement and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Maine (required).
• Must not appear on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Access to a working cell phone.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Providing mobility assistance, including transfers, ambulation, and safe use of assistive devices.
• Measuring and documenting vital signs and basic health observations as directed.
• Supporting daily care tasks, such as light housekeeping related to care, laundry, bed linen changes, and meal preparation.
• Assisting with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offering companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence.
• Monitoring clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Identifying and reporting safety risks or environmental concerns.
• Performing only tasks within the CNA scope of practice and listed in the care plan.
• Completing required documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Following infection control, safety procedures, and universal precautions.
• Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Responding appropriately to emergency situations and reporting incidents immediately.
• Treating all clients with respect, dignity, and professionalism.
• Maintaining dependable attendance and adhering to assigned schedules.
• Complying with all MaineTouch policies and procedures and participating in required training.
