Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology or mental health-related field required.
• Preferred experience in community mental health and field/crisis work with children and adolescents.
• Candidate should be able to provide mental health services in home/community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health counseling to children/adolescents and their families in home or community settings as part of a two-person team.
• Complete assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with family and community programs to support welfare of child/adolescent.
• Assist in securing psychiatric hospital placement as needed.
• Provide crisis after-hours on-call services on the agency rotation schedule.
