Job summary

Hope Network New Passages is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist in Mt Clemens, MI to empower individuals in recovery. You bring lived mental health experience, stability in your own recovery, and a passion for helping others to build independence and hope.

Under supervision, you will provide home visits, connect clients with community resources, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A high school diploma and certification are required, with training offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Support Specialist certification required.
• Must have been diagnosed with a Mental Health condition and have received Mental Health services.
• Be willing to become a Certified Peer Support Specialist (if not yet certified).
• Ability to recognize personal triggers and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide home visits and support within Macomb County.
• Offer recovery-focused, person-centered support.
• Assist with linking clients to transportation, housing, and community resources.
• Document progress and outcomes for clients at the end of shifts.
• Engage with families and guardians to build a support network.
