Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Seattle seeks experienced caregivers to join our team. A valid WA CNA or HCA license and a WA driver’s license with a reliable vehicle and in-your-name auto insurance are required. Ability to transport clients and lift up to 50 lbs is expected. Competitive pay and flexible shifts available.

Positions cover West Seattle, Shoreline and surrounding areas; caregiving experience and AxisCare app use are assets. We offer orientation, ongoing training, and supportive staff.

Qualifications

• Must have valid WA CNA or HCA license.
• WA state driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and auto insurance in your name.
• Ability to transport clients in your vehicle; comfortable visiting multiple client homes.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Smartphone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app.
• 18 years of age or older and able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Household chores, meal preparation and serving.
• Help clients bathe, dress and groom; provide companionship.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
• Assist with transfers using gait belt or Hoyer lift.
• Monitor and report on client condition.

Our Seattle branch is looking for experienced caregivers to join our team! We do require valid CNA or HCA license. In addition, we do require a valid WA state driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance in your name.

Caregivers willing to work in West Seattle, Shoreline, Downtown, and surrounding areas or able to commute at 20- 30 miles for work.

Current Needs

Live- In: Open to 12-hour shifts

West Seattle: Open to full-time and part-time hours

• Hospice Care experience
• Memory Care experience
• Hoyer Lift experience
• Nurse Delegation
• Ability to transport clients in the caregiver's vehicle
• Comfortable working short shifts and going to more than one client's home in a day
• Comfortable with cats or dogs - most of our clients have pets

Service areas: Northgate, Capitol Hill, Shoreline, White Center, Magnolia/Queen Anne, West Seattle, Skyway, Green Lake, Central Seattle/Downtown, and Ballard

Pay rate: $25-$25.50 hr

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car
• Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• The more open your availability, the more clients we can match you with. Ability to build a consistent schedule depends on caregiver availability, willingness to transport, and client match.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Active WA State CNA or HCA license and up to date on CE credits
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
• Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app
