Job summary

Family Resource Home Care's Seattle branch is seeking experienced caregivers with a valid WA State CNA or HCA license and a WA driver’s license, plus a reliable vehicle and insurance. Roles cover West Seattle, Shoreline, Downtown and nearby areas, with live-in 12-hour shifts and a variety of shorter shifts.

Pay rate is $25 to $25.50 per hour, with flexible scheduling, 24/7 caregiver support, client matching, travel time and mileage reimbursement, paid orientation and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Active WA State CNA or HCA license and up-to-date CE credits.
• WA state driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance in your name.
• Experience with hospice, memory care, and Hoyer lifts is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and supervise daily routines.
• Transport clients to appointments or errands in own vehicle.
• Assist with transfers using Hoyer lift or gait belt as needed.

Our Seattle branch is looking for experienced caregivers to join our team! We do require valid CNA or HCA license. In addition, we do require a valid WA state driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance in your name.

Caregivers willing to work in West Seattle, Shoreline, Downtown, and surrounding areas or able to commute at 20-30 miles for work.

Current Needs

Live- In: Open to 12 hour shifts

West Seattle: Open to full-time and part-time hours

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car
• Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• The more open your availability, the more clients we can match you with. Ability to build a consistent schedule depends on caregiver availability, willingness to transport, and client match.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Active WA State CNA or HCA license and up to date on CE credits
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
• Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app
