Home Matters Caregiving in the Greater Boston West area is hiring Personal Care Assistants to help clients with daily living activities, meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship. You will work in person with clients, providing compassionate, high-quality in-home care.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid time off, paid training, and a supportive office team. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow through specialized dementia training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, high-quality in-home care focus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Experience or training in dementia care is desirable.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Medication reminders and documentation.
• Support clients with mobility and exercises.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in conversations.
• Assist with dementia care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.
