Home Matters Caregiving in Needham, MA is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support clients with daily activities, meal prep, and mobility. Roles include dementia care and companionship, with a focus on high-quality in-home care.

Multiple shifts are available in a flexible, in-person setting for Full-time or Part-time work. We offer dementia training, paid training, and a supportive office network to help you grow as a caregiver.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• A heart for compassionate, high-quality in-home care.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.
