Home Matters Caregiving is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant in the Greater Boston West area to support clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, and mobility. You will provide compassionate in-home care, document medication reminders, and maintain a safe, clean environment for clients.

The role emphasizes companionship, dementia care support, and coordination with healthcare providers and families. Flexible scheduling and PTO options are available.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, high-quality in-home care.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.
