Gail's Homecare in Lithonia, GA seeks a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home care. You will assist with personal hygiene and basic domestic tasks, documenting progress to support client wellbeing.

The role runs 4 days a week, 9am–5pm, at $13/hour, with a focus on dignity and safety. Requirements include CPR/BLS and First Aid, HS diploma or GED, 1 year healthcare experience (3–5 years preferred), valid driver's license, PCA certification, and TB test results.

Formación

• CPR/BLS and First Aid certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year full-time healthcare experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Home health care experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and conversational abilities.
• 8 hours of personal care training annually.
• Willingness to attend meetings and training.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist with mobility.
• Dependable, punctual, reliable.
• Willingness to assist with personal care and household tasks.
• Housekeeping experience a plus.
• Comply with agency policies and healthcare regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Personal care and hygiene assistance for client.
• Mobility transfers using Hoyer lift and positioning.
• Meal positioning and safety; feeding not required.
