Gail’s Homecare in Lithonia, Georgia is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our in-home non-medical care team. You will support clients with daily living tasks, personal hygiene, and mobility in their homes, documenting progress to ensure wellbeing.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications are required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of full-time healthcare experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Home health care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Annual 8 hours of personal care-related training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help with clothing changes and incontinence care as needed.
• Ensure client comfort and proper positioning in bed.
• Assist with transfers using a Hoyer Lift and positioning for meals.
• Provide light housekeeping and organize laundry and spaces.
