Job summary

Gail’s Homecare in Lithonia, GA, is seeking a compassionate personal care assistant (PCA) to serve clients in their homes. You will help with basic personal hygiene and light domestic tasks, and document clients' progress to support their overall wellbeing.

The role requires CPR/BLS First Aid, a High School Diploma or GED, and 1+ year of healthcare experience; 3–5 years preferred. Shift is Thursday, 12pm–5pm, pay $13/hour, with necessary IDs and background checks.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS First Aid is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of full-time professional healthcare experience; three to five years preferred.
• Significant home health care experience preferred.
• Mastery of the English language, written & verbal.
• Good communication skills.
• Eight hours of personal care-oriented services per year.
• Participation in professional meetings when directed.
• Ability to work under supervision to ensure competence in client care.
• Experience in housekeeping is a plus.
• Able to lift heavy objects, move clients, and perform physical tasks.
• Patient and calm under stress.
• Willingness to perform domestic and personal tasks as requested.
• Prompt and reliable.
• Warm and caring personality.
• Commitment to dignity and respect for clients.
• Willingness to comply with all legal requirements.

Responsibilities
