Job summary

Agape at Home in Saddlebrooke, AZ, is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in our community. You will help people maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes.

This role offers pay between $16.00 and $20.00 per hour, weekly pay, and shift options with differential. In-person work, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team culture centered on CAPLICO core values.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health, senior care, or long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA regulations, and patient monitoring is essential.
• Familiarity with caregiving tasks like meals, meds, and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide personal care including mobility assistance and transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and tidying the home.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia, through patient observation and tailored activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies for individuals with disabilities.
