Job summary

At Agape at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in our community. You will assist with ADLs, meal prep, mobility, medication reminders, and companionship, helping clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

This in-person role offers competitive hourly pay, with weekly pay and options for day/night shifts at Saddlebrook location. Join our team to support, listen, and respond with compassion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health or senior care preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA, and patient monitoring essential.
• Familiarity with meal prep, medication administration, and cleaning duties.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse individuals.
• Experience with people with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding of clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide personal care and assist with mobility using equipment when needed.
• Monitor vital signs and health status changes; document findings.
• Prepare nutritious meals per dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Administer medications as prescribed per care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities.
• Support memory care for clients with Alzheimer's or dementia.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care strategies.
