Job summary

Vibrant-LLC in Rock Rapids, IA is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide in-home care for clients, including the elderly or individuals with disabilities, helping them stay independent and happy at home. This job requires caring for others who need help staying or gaining independence AT THEIR OWN HOME including the elderly or clients with intellectual or physical disabilities of all ages.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver Essential Job Functions (differ based on client needs):

• Housekeeping/Cleaning & laundry
• Meal preparation & cooking
• Grocery shopping for or with the client
• Transportation & errands
• Personal cares and bathing
• Companionship
• Visit places in the community/socialize
• Engage in activities (games, memory books)
• Assist with goals such as, but not limited to social and behavior functioning, coping skills, self-advocacy, confidence building, relationship building, safe boundaries, etc. by Coaching, discussing, roleplaying, teaching etc.
