Job summary

Right at Home SLC is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors and adults with disabilities stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home in the Salt Lake area.

We currently have part-time openings on weekdays or weekends. Benefits include competitive pay, training opportunities, mileage reimbursement, and 401(k) matching. Experience with dementia or behavioral care is preferred, and CNA/Dementia certification can boost pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license and car.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia or behavioral care (preferred).
• Familiarity with hoyer lifts and gait belts (preferred).

Caregiver

Responsibilities

• offer companionship and emotional support, assisting with hygiene and mobility, preparing meals and light housekeeping, providing transportation to appointments or outings, giving medication reminders, and building meaningful connections that foster well-being.

• Competitive pay: $17.00-$18.25/hour (based on experience, CNA, or Dementia Certification) Minimum $27.50 per shift
• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
• Raises after 60 days + annual reviews
