Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure our patients’ homes are staffed with nurses and caregivers in line with the approved hours and plan of care.

The role involves identifying staffing needs, creating schedules, onboarding contractors, and collaborating with HR and care teams in a fast-paced environment. Occasional local travel for home visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a cognitive assessment.
• Experience with healthcare staffing or scheduling coordination is preferred.
• Experience in customer service or administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs and vacancies due to call outs.
• Understand plan of care for new patients.
• Create a staffing plan and collaborate to fill vacancies.
• Schedule and conduct orientation training for new contractors.
• Create schedules and send shift confirmations.
• Track and audit schedules for compliance.
• Maintain HIPAA and patient information security.
