Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking registered nurses to join as 1099 independent contractors, delivering compassionate in-home care to energy workers in Utah. You will conduct assessments, educate families, assist with ADLs, and coordinate care with the patient and medical team.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in the state, be willing to travel, and maintain BLS certification. Malpractice insurance is required and strong empathy with patients is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel for home visits.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide personalized in-home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
• Assist with ADLs with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedule with patients according to care plan and preferences.
• Monitor changes in symptoms and report promptly to care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure unified care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Provide emotional support to patients and family members.
