Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated 24/7 Registered Nurses to join our team as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering compassionate, holistic care directly to the homes of energy workers in need.

As an In-Home Health Care RN, you will assess health needs, educate families, assist with ADLs, coordinate with Case Managers and physicians, and maintain detailed EMR documentation in a flexible, independent setting.

Qualifications

• A valid and active RN License in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments with personalized care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide ADL assistance with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients and plan of care.
• Monitor symptoms and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with case managers and physicians for a unified approach.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR system.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
