Job summary

Avid Health at Home, LLC in Kentucky is hiring Personal Care Aides (PCA) to support clients in Breathitt County and surrounding areas. The role provides daily living support under physician orders and care plans, including ADL/IADL tasks and companionship. You will work with the care team to follow plans, maintain safety, and document services.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Current PCA certification required; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification: Current certification/registration with the licensing board in the respective state of practice.
• Current PCA certification.
• Compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• CPR preferred and may be required for some clients.
• Transportation, language and cultural requirements for the branch.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick and ability to read, write and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Provides ADL and IADL support to clients as ordered by the physician’s plan and care plan.
• Assists with personal care activities and transfers as needed.
• Assists with mobility, therapy exercises, and household tasks related to health.
• Maintains a clean, safe home environment and helps with meals and light housekeeping.
• Documents shift details and services within time parameters.
• Remains compliant with HIPAA and safety standards.
