Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Maryland seeks an experienced Behavioral Therapist to work 1:1 with children in the home setting under BCBA supervision. You will implement goals and document sessions to support treatment plans.

Requirements include a High School diploma, 1 year of relevant experience, CPR/BLS certification, state-required screenings, and strong English communication. Must be 18+ with a passion for autism care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year relevant and professional experience.
• Current hands‑on CPR/BLS certification - CPR must be an in‑person class (BLS American Heart Association).
• Current PPD or Chest X‑Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirement)
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals via strong communication skills; proficiency in English may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Follows the instructions of the BCBA/Program Supervisor.
• Provides behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients.
• Work with clients, families, and communities to implement client treatment plan.
• Complete and document session per policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate for any in-service training.
• Uphold & follow the ethical stands of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Playtime is learning time. So having fun is expected as well!
