Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to implement individualized ABA programs for children with ASD in home settings under the supervision of a BCBA.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; RBT certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days if applicable. Travel to client homes is expected and background checks are required. Flexible scheduling with competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher degrees preferred.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days if applicable.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy as directed by the supervising BCBA, following individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
• Record and maintain accurate data on client progress using electronic data collection systems.
• Implement skill acquisition programs targeting communication, social, adaptive, and academic behaviors.
• Follow and apply behavior reduction protocols as designed by the BCBA.
• Assist with the generalization of skills across environments, people, and settings.
• Provide reinforcement, prompting, and other ABA techniques in accordance with the client’s treatment plan.
• Maintain professional and ethical conduct in accordance with BACB guidelines (if applicable).
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the clinical team.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times.
