Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking experienced behavioral therapists for in-home ABA programs in Hampton, VA. The position involves implementing goals set by BCBA, providing 1:1 behavior interventions for children on the autism spectrum, and collaborating with families and supervisors to ensure treatment plan adherence.

The role requires professional childcare experience and an RBT certification is preferred; CPR is required, and applicants must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year relevant professional experience.
• Current hands-on CPR certification (BLS American Heart Association).
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and families.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Follows BCBA/Program Supervisor instructions.
• Provides behavior interventions to assigned clients.
• Works with families to implement treatment plans.
• Complete and document sessions per policies and procedures.
• Attend in-service trainings.
• Adheres to BACB ethical standards.
• Playtime is learning time; having fun is expected.
