Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Oakland is hiring an In-Home Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. You’ll provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services and assist with daily program activities, while collecting data on progress.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in healthcare or education environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or behavioral sciences preferred.
• At least 1 year experience with children/adults with special needs and challenging behaviors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services.
• Assist with daily activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals per Behavior Support Plan.
