Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

The role involves delivering compassionate, one-to-one behavioral care and documenting progress according to the Behavior Support Plan. You will support daily activities and personal care needs in a professional healthcare setting, with opportunities for growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in an educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least one year of experience working with individuals with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed.
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
