Maxim Healthcare in Berkeley is hiring an In-Home Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

The role includes providing one-to-one behavioral intervention, assisting with daily activities, and collecting data on goals per the Behavior Support Plan. Requires a high school diploma or GED, with preference for related experience and coursework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs preferred.
• College coursework in related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, meals, dressing and mobility.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals per the Behavior Support Plan.
