Job summary

Verbal Beginnings, a leading in-home ABA therapy provider, seeks a Part-Time Behavior Technician to work in clients' homes in the Brookeville, MD area. You will deliver one-on-one ABA services under BCBA supervision, supporting communication and daily living skills.

You’ll travel to families, implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and collaborate with families to reinforce progress in natural settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-home travel.
• Patience, compassion and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in progress or completed.
• Preferred: 6+ months of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes for one-on-one ABA therapy in a home-based setting.
• Implement ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record data to track each child's progress.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and family to ensure consistency at home.
• Build positive relationships with children and their families.
