Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to provide one-on-one support to children and adults in home or community settings. You will implement behavior plans under supervision, help clients build social and communication skills, and document progress accurately.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for working with individuals with special needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development; or at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or similar developmental delays.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
