Job summary

Maxim Healthcare has been delivering in-home and community-based care for over 30 years. As a Behavior Technician you will work one-on-one with clients to build communication, social, and daily living skills under the guidance of BCBA supervisors.

The role emphasizes data collection, implementing treatment plans, and creating engaging learning environments in clients' homes. Travel between locations may be required, with mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• OR at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.
