Job summary

Big Sandy Superstore is seeking an Appliance & Electronics Technician to diagnose and repair customer units. You will start each day by contacting customers, run all scheduled calls, and accurately diagnose appliances and electronics.

You will order parts, document work orders from the customer’s home, install parts, test operations, and log all repair activities. The role requires strong customer skills, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Contact customer at the start of each work day.
• Run all calls scheduled for the day.
• Accurately diagnose Appliances & Electronics.
• Order parts and add notes in the work order from the customer’s home.
• Install parts on units and test operation after installation.
• Call tech line and document the call in the system after any failed repair attempt.
• Finalize all billing notes from the customer’s home.
• Perform additional tasks as needed within the agreed time frame.
