GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks an Appliance Care Expert in Manhattan, NY. You will diagnose and repair major appliances, promote service plans, and act as a trusted brand representative in customers’ homes.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance experience.
• Ability/experience diagnosing and repairing major appliances.
• Excellent customer service with a professional approach.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Teams).
• Valid state driver’s license; background check, physical, and drug screen.
• Willingness to obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Recommend repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate assigned service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities accurately.
• Participate in training and meetings to stay current in the field.
• Maintain inventory and vehicle upkeep.
• Deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.
