GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Bodewell Appliance Care Technician in Rochester, NY. You will diagnose and repair GE Appliances’ major appliances, determine repair vs replacement, and promote service plans and accessories, while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll operate a service van, document work, participate in training, and maintain safety standards. The position offers competitive hourly pay, day-one benefits, and career advancement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Valid state driver's license; background check, physical, and drug screen.
• Willing to obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.
• Proficient in Outlook and Teams; flexible Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Judge repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote service contracts and related products; focus on value-driven solutions.
• Operate an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities accurately.
• Participate in training sessions and maintain industry knowledge.
