Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) for in-home services in New Jersey. The role reports to the BCBA and centers on implementing individualized ABA programs for children with ASD and developmental disabilities under supervision.

The position involves 1:1 ABA delivery, data collection, and data-driven progress monitoring, within home and/or center-based settings. Travel to client homes is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• RBT certification preferred but not required at time of hire; must obtain within 90 days if applicable.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes or centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Record and maintain accurate data on client progress using electronic data collection systems.
• Implement skill acquisition programs targeting communication, social, adaptive, and academic behaviors.
• Follow and apply behavior reduction protocols as designed by the BCBA.
• Assist with generalization of skills across environments and settings.
