Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to implement individualized ABA programs for children diagnosed with ASD and other developmental disabilities under the direct supervision of a BCBA in home and center settings.

You will deliver 1:1 therapy, collect accurate progress data, and implement skill-building goals while following behavior reduction plans and BACB guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• RBT certification preferred or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience working with children or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes or centers.
• Background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Record and maintain accurate data on client progress.
• Implement skill acquisition, communication, social, adaptive, and academic targets.
• Follow behavior reduction protocols as designed by the BCBA.
• Assist with generalization of skills across environments and settings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the clinical team.
