Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy in Tolleson, AZ is hiring part-time behavior technicians to support children with autism or developmental delays in their homes during afternoon and evening hours. You will work 1-on-1 with a child, implementing play-based ABA plans under a BCBA supervisor.

You’ll track progress with a simple data system on a mobile device, receive training and ongoing support, and collaborate with a BCBA and other techs to ensure consistency.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after‑school programs, caregiving, autism).
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus).
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to homes.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
• Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress during each session using a data system on your phone or tablet (training provided).
• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to maintain consistency and effectiveness.
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
