Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) to implement ABA programs for children with ASD, under the supervision of a BCBA, in home and/or center settings.

You will gather data, support skill development, and participate in ongoing training and supervision toward RBT certification. A high school diploma is required, with higher degrees preferred, and RBT certification is encouraged within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher degrees preferred
• RBT certification preferred; must be obtained within 90 days if applicable
• Experience with children or developmental disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
• Record client progress data using electronic systems
• Implement skill acquisition programs across communication, social, adaptive, and academic domains
• Apply behavior reduction protocols as designed by the BCBA
• Support generalization of skills across environments, people
• Provide reinforcement and prompting per the treatment plan
• Maintain ethical conduct per BACB guidelines
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and clinical team
• Ensure health, safety and well-being of clients
