Job summary

Easterseals Southern California offers in-home ABA therapy roles focused on children on the autism spectrum. The Behavior Interventionist will conduct sessions in families' homes, working afternoons/evenings with potential weekend hours. Candidates must have their own reliable transportation and pass immunization/TB checks and background screening.

Qualifications

Must have a passion for working with children.
Previous experience with children or individuals with special needs is preferred and demonstrates interest in behavioral health.
Available for afternoon/early evening hours and possible weekend mornings.
Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, auto registration and auto insurance.
Proof of immunization records and TB testing.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Initial two-week training schedule (M-F, about 35 hours) is required.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home ABA-based therapy sessions to families and children on the autism spectrum.
Observe, assess and interact with participants during sessions.
Assist with loading/unloading materials and transporting toys for home visits.
Work hours are Mon-Fri 3PM-8PM and Sat 9AM-1PM, with a minimum 15 hours per week.
