Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking Behavior Interventionists to conduct in-home ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum. You will join a program with ongoing training and clear career paths, working afternoons to evenings and some weekend mornings.

Responsibilities include delivering ABA sessions, observing progress, and assisting families, with emphasis on safety and positive outcomes. Training is provided, and a driver’s license with reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children.
• Experience with children or people with special needs and interest in behavioral health.
• Available to work afternoons/early evenings; possible weekend mornings.
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver's license; auto registration and insurance.
• Proof of immunization records and TB.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Available for initial 2-week training (M-F, ~35 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home ABA-based therapy sessions to families and children on the autism spectrum.
• Observe, assess, and interact with participants during sessions.
• Lift/move materials for home visits as needed; assist with setup and teardown.
• Maintain consistent attendance within published hours (Mon-Fri 3PM-8PM; Sat 9AM-1PM).
