Job summary

Easter Seals Southern California, Inc. is seeking Behavior Interventionists to provide in-home ABA-based therapy to children on the autism spectrum.

The role emphasizes compassionate engagement, observation, and interaction within family settings to support developmental goals. Applicants should have a passion for working with children, relevant experience, reliable transportation, immunization records, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and willingness to engage families.
• Experience with children or people with special needs and an interest in behavioral health.
• Available to work afternoons/early evenings and some weekend mornings.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, auto registration and auto insurance.
• Immunization records and TB documentation required.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Available for initial 2-week training schedule (M-F, about 35 hours).
• Position requires lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading supplies for home visits.
• Frequent movements such as walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and twisting.
