Job summary

Easterseals Southern California offers roles as Behavior Interventionists providing in-home ABA therapy to families and children on the autism spectrum. You will gain a deeper understanding of autism and behavioral therapy while working with children in a structured program with ongoing training and clear career paths.

Hours are primarily weekday afternoons and some Saturday mornings, with a 15-hour minimum weekly commitment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a passion for working with children.
• Previous experience with children or special needs is preferred.
• Able to work afternoons/early evenings and some weekend mornings.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, auto insurance and registration.
• Immunization records and TB test required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Available for initial 2-week training schedule (M-F, ~35 hours).

Responsibilities

• In-home ABA therapy visits with children on the autism spectrum.
• Observe, assess, and interact with participants during sessions.
• Assist with lifting, carrying, and setting up materials for sessions.
• Work within the stated schedule (3PM-8PM; Saturdays 9AM-1PM).
