Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Hours: Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm.

You will provide exceptional customer service to clinic staff and patients, fill prescriptions, manage inventory, process orders, and help ensure compliance with federal and state requirements while maintaining

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Keeps the pharmacy in compliance with federal and state requirements with pharmacist support.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
