Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing medications and clerical duties under a Pharmacist's supervision at our Wilmington, NC location. Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.

You will provide customer service to clinic staff and patients, process prescription orders, manage inventory, arrange deliveries, and help ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license.
• At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make deliveries to post office or bank once a week.
