Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy. The role involves dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in Augusta, GA.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with a one-hour lunch. Primary responsibilities include patient service, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license (unrestricted).
• 2+ years of technician experience.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and displays them under direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and records inventory in the system.
• Assist pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
• Maintain professional verbal and written communication with staff and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
