Job summary

Priority Worldwide is hiring an Import Customer Service Representative in Baltimore, MD, to provide proactive support for import shipments. You will track shipments, manage communications, and assist with documentation and billing.

This on-site role offers hands-on training and opportunities to grow within a global logistics team. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of logistics and customer service experience, be detail-oriented, and comfortable using CargoWise and Microsoft Office.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver proactive, high-touch customer service to import clients, ensuring every shipment receives the Ultimate Customer Experience.
• Track and trace import shipments from arrival to delivery, providing accurate updates and resolving any service issues promptly.
• Manage and organize shared email inboxes, ensuring clear communication and timely responses.
• Support the import team with documentation, billing, and data entry for shipments and brokerage.
• Coordinate with global partners, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth, compliant cargo movement.
• Learn international import processes, including customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented environment built on collaboration, accountability, and mutual support.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 1 year of logistics experience required, with freight forwarding and import experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Ability to work on‑site in our Baltimore, MD office.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in international logistics.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong computer skills and comfort working with digital systems, email-based workflows, and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and support daily operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CargoWise is a strong asset.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000–$60,000 annually (based on experience)
