Job summary

Leoforce is seeking an Import Specialist in Valley Stream, NY to manage end-to-end ocean import shipments. You will coordinate origin-to-destination movement, prepare documentation for customs clearance, and ensure CBP/FMC compliance while collaborating with carriers and brokers.

The role requires mid-level experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Cargowise. A competitive package and benefits support a global logistics operation.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system
