Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Import Specialist with strong CargoWise experience to manage ocean and air import shipments from origin to final destinations in a fast-paced, global logistics environment. The role focuses on accuracy, timely delivery, and strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in international freight forwarding, excellent communication, and proficiency in MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Shipment delivery on time per customer's request.
• Coordinate full-cycle of ocean and air import shipments from origin to final destination.
• Prepare and review import documentation for customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with CBP, FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with carriers, brokers, overseas agents, and internal teams.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
• Maintain records and data entry in the internal system.

• Prepare and review import documentation for Import customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
