Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Import Specialist in Doral, Florida. You will coordinate the full cycle of ocean and air import shipments, prepare and review import documentation for customs clearance, and ensure compliance with CBP, FMC, and other regulations while communicating with carriers and brokers.

This hybrid, permanent role offers a salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability coverage, an HSA, FSA options, a 401(k),

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Delivery on time per customer's request.
• Coordinate full-cycle of ocean and air import shipments from origin country to final destinations.
• Prepare and review import documentation for Import customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system.
