Jobot is hiring an Import Specialist with CargoWise experience to manage end-to-end ocean and air import shipments. The role emphasizes timely delivery, strong coordination with carriers, brokers, and internal teams, and strict regulatory compliance with CBP and FMC. Domestic and international freight forwarding knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Shipment delivery on time per customer’s request.
• Coordinate full-cycle of ocean and air import shipments from origin country to final destinations.
• Prepare and review import documentation for import customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with CBP, FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system.
